Section 1.2 Bot Info and Tutorials
In this class we will the setup referred to as cyber:bot:

The brains of our system will be provided by the micro:bit setup, a tiny micro-controller with some built-in buttons, sound and other sensors. We will warm up with some of the micro:bit projects, to get used to the basics of the platform.

We will be primarily using an online Python editor specific to the micro:bit platform.

The cyber:bot is a system that brings together the micro:bit along with a chassis and basic electronic circuit building support. Along with it is a set of libraries to program the system. We will learn how to program the robot to move around and detect the world around it.

There is a number of cyber:bot tutorials prepared, and we will go through most of them over the course of the term. They will largely consist of programming using Python and a specific set of libraries.
