Testing Statements

• Read carefully pages 178 through 182 (section 7.3)
• Pages 170 through 177 (sections 7.1-7.2) are recommended but not required reading
• Some key questions to answer:
  1. The section contains a number of statements, some true some false. Write them down without their proofs, then try to provide proofs for them. This section is effectively meant to give you practice over all the previous techniques.
• Practice problems from section 7.3 (page 187): 7.29, 7.30, 7.33, 7.34, 7.39, 7.49, 7.50, 7.63, 7.66, 7.68
