• Some key questions to answer:
  1. What is a statement? Provide examples.
  2. What are the possible truth values of a statement?
  3. What symbols do we use to denote statements?
  4. Give examples of sentences that are not statements.
  5. What is an “open statement”?
  6. What is the “domain” of a variable used in a sentence?
  7. How do we represent open statements that have variables?
  8. If we have four statements, how many rows will the truth table for them have?
